Holy movie stars, Batman!
The Batman series from the 1960s ran for three chaotic, campy seasons and in those 120 episodes, a huge number of big stars appeared in it. There has never been a show like it since. So, sit back and listen to what entertained us as kids back in the 1960s

Godzilla, the iconic monster of the film industry, has been captivating audiences since its debut in 1954. “LET’S GET READY TO CRUMBLE”

Much like the rest of American society, the early sixties in baseball were just like the late 50s. The Yankees were winning, Mickey Mantle was playing well, and the world was turning as it should. That was until 1965, in which America and the baseball world were turned upside down. The wheels completely fell off the Yankee bus and the rest of Major League Baseball took over. For us young Baby Boomers baseball was an escape from a troubling world filled with war, civil rights movement and nuclear annihilation.

The Beatles are, well, what can we really say that isn’t obvious? They are probably the biggest band ever. And very influential to us Baby Boomers, and yet, that isn’t the end of the Beatles’ quality output. In fact, there are great songs from the Fab Four that were never chart-toppers in the United States. But ask any Baby Boomer and we’ll tell you that all their great songs were number one. As I’ve said in the past and I’ll say again. The older we get, the better we were.

As we reflect on the legacy of “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” it becomes evident that its impact on movie-making is immeasurable. From innovative cinematography to iconic characters, from a groundbreaking soundtrack to revolutionary editing techniques, this film was a game changer in ways that are still felt today. And for us pre-teen or young teenager, the to hear that many swear words at one time we would have to wait until our dad was driving in L.A. traffic.
